Michael Terry, Director of The Whiting
Michael joins us from the Williams Auditorium at Ferris State University, where he directed all aspects of the auditorium operations including booking, budgeting, technical management and front of house functions. During his tenure at Ferris State, Michael was responsible for creating the “Live! At Williams Performing Arts Series” in 2003, which significantly increased students’ and community access to live performing arts. Prior to Ferris State, Michael directed and produced consumer and industrial videos as owner and manager of a professional video production company in Toledo, Ohio; was Advertising and Exhibits Manager for Aeroquip Corporation in Maumee, Ohio; served as Events Manager for the Lansing Convention and Exhibition Authority in Lansing, Michigan; and was Coordinator of Technical Services at Jackson Community College in Jackson, Michigan.

Volunteers

The Whiting has a team of over 75 dedicated volunteers that perform a wide variety of duties ranging from ushering, concessions, and work on the grounds.
