Facilities and Rentals


Add a little Whiting charm to your next event! The Whiting's facilities are available for rentals and can be used for a wide variety of events including dance recitals, music performances of all kinds, lectures, community theatre, corporate meetings, graduation ceremonies, receptions, and so much more.

The main auditorium is a professional grade 2,043 seat proscenium style theater. For music performances, the auditorium may be configured with various band shell configurations on stage and a hydraulic stage lift can lower the stage extension to create a full-size orchestra pit (use of orchestra pit results in loss of 150 seats.)

The backstage area includes wardrobe, laundry, and six (6) dressing rooms with bathroom and shower facilities. A green room with mini kitchen is also available. The green room can be converted into a production office or an extra dressing room if needed. Each dressing room can be equipped with telephone & wireless/wired broadband internet service. All facilities are handicap accessible.

Lobby

An expansive lobby area can be used in many ways for different types of events
