It's Good To Know....



  • No Refunds. Please check your ticket(s) before you leave the window to ensure the dates, times and performances are correct.

  • Exchanges/Changes to your ticket order after the initial purchase, if permitted, are subject to availability and additional fees may apply. All exchanges must be made at least 24 hours prior to performance time.

  • Senior, Child, and Military discounts are available for most performances. Please inquire at time of ticket purchase.

  • Student Rush tickets are offered to all students 16 years of age or older. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event with a valid Student ID, limit 2 tickets per ID.

  • Discounts cannot be combined or applied to previous ticket purchases, please inform your Ticket Center Representative if you qualify for any discount prior to your purchase.

Planning Your Visit



  • Free Parking at The Flint Cultural Center is secure, but can become congested right before a show. Arrive at least 1/2 an hour prior to performance time to allow yourself time to park and get to your seat.

  • Latecomers will be seated only during an appropriate pause in the program. The pause will be determined by the production company, not The Whiting.

  • Concessions are located on the Orchestra and Mezzanine Levels. Food or beverages are not permitted inside the theater.
    Coat Check is a free service and is located on the Orchestra Level next to concessions.

  • Cameras and Recording Devices are strictly prohibited to ensure the safety of the performers and the comfort of our patrons unless otherwise posted. Inquire at time of ticket purchase.

Additional Policies



  • Cell Phones and Electronic Devices. Please silence all devices before approaching the Ticket Center window or entering the seating area.

  • Children Are Welcome! Please note that some performances may contain adult themes. Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Disruptive patrons will be asked to leave, without refunds.

  • No Smoking allowed in or around the perimeters of The Whiting. This includes electronic cigarettes and personal vaporizers.

  • Notice: All weapons, including concealed firearms, are prohibited in the Cultural Center premise.

Special Services



  • Barrier-Free Seating is available on every floor and in every price zone. Accessible barrier-free seats are held until all regular seats in the same price zone are sold.

  • Assisted Listening Devices are available from The Whiting Lobby Desk at no charge during events at The Whiting. A driver's license, state-issued ID card or other form of security deposit is required.

  • ASL Interpreters are present during designated shows. If you require an ASL interpreter at a performance not designated, requests must be made at least two weeks ahead of time to our Guest Services Manager so an interpreter can be provided. All requests are subject to artist approval and availability of interpreter. Please ask about our special ASL rates at time of ticket purchase.

  • Service Animals are welcome to The Whiting. Proper Identification is required.

  • Familiarization Tours are offered to all patrons. Take a tour of the seating area and facilities before purchasing tickets. Guided tours for the visually impaired are available by appointment.

  • Please make arrangements for any of the above services with your Ticket Center Representative at the time of ticket purchase.
